Holly Humphrey - Assistant

Meet Holly! Holly was born and raised here in Jacksonville, NC, where she graduated from White Oak High School. There she played volleyball and soccer with two state championships under her belt and was proudly nominated WOHS 2006 Homecoming Queen. She continued her education at Cape Fear Community College having graduated as a certified dental assistant in August 2008 and received All-American and Player of the Year awards in Women's Soccer. Outside of work, Holly loves being at the beach, taking adventurous vacations, and playing sports. Holly immediately accepted this awesome job opportunity with Dr. Browning after rotating through his office during her dental assisting program. Holly loves the fun and lively atmosphere and is always excited to see the amazing results from orthodontic treatment. Holly enjoys working for Dr. Browning because of the simple, easygoing, and laid-back personality of Dr. Browning. Working for Dr. Browning has already had a positive impact in Holly's life, and she is certain he will do the same for you!

 

Erica Mills - Head Orthodontic Assistant

Erica was born and raised in Jacksonville, NC. She graduated from Jacksonville High School and now resides in Wilmington, NC. In her spare time she enjoys playing volleyball, watching the Food Network, and trying new recipes. In 1998 Erica became a patient of Dr. Browning and soon after he approached her to begin working for him after school. At 14 years of age Erica started working as a front desk assistant; through the years she has moved her way up to Head Assistant. She became X-ray certified in 2003 from the University of North Carolina. Erica admires Dr. Browning's work, dedication to his patients, and all his accomplishments. She feels he has given her an opportunity for a career that she cannot only excel in but also be proud to call her profession.

 

Colleen Curtis - Financial Coordinator

Colleen is a fun-loving person. Always quick with a joke, she loves to see a smile on everyone's face. She started working with Dr. Browning in the spring of 2005. While the field of orthodontics was new to her, the financial side of business was well known. Colleen has worked as a bookkeeper for various companies for the last 20 years. While serving 5 years of active duty with the United States Marine Corps, and being married to her husband who served 27 years in the Marines, she has had the opportunity to live in many different cities. The thing Colleen says she likes best about working for Dr. Browning is his love of kids. He always makes the patients feel welcome and takes every opportunity to build their self-confidence. "He is the kind of orthodontist I wish I had as a kid." Colleen is an accomplished seamstress and loves to sew and garden in her spare time.

 

Tabitha Menning - Orthodontic Assistant

This is Tabitha! She joined Dr. Browning’s team in the fall of 2009. Tabitha was born into a military family who has lived in many of the states that line the East Coast. She graduated from Coastal Carolina with her CDA in the summer of 2009. She feels very blessed each day that Dr. Browning and the rest of the staff have given her the opportunity to grow and excel in her profession at a place she loves. She could not ask for a more compassionate boss and enthusiastic staff to work along side. Tabitha enjoys the fun-filled atmosphere and working with many different wonderful patients so much that she not only begins each day with a smile, but ends it with one as well. Outside of work Tabitha enjoys reading, watching sports (especially football), invites friendly competition in any type of game, and loves spending time with her friends and family. She looks forward to seeing your bright smiling face in our office soon!
